From the moment Devon joined Focus 360, he stood out for all the right reasons. Although he completed his first four-week session without securing employment, he never viewed it as the end of his journey. Over the following months, Devon returned for two additional Focus 360 job clubs, each time bringing the same enthusiasm and commitment to his goals. Alongside his facilitators, he strengthened his résumé, refined his interview skills, and continued pursuing every opportunity that came his way.
That persistence finally paid off during his third round of Focus 360 when he interviewed with Carl’s Jr. Days later, he returned to the Lancaster site with exciting news. He had accepted a position earning $20 per hour and was preparing to begin work the following week. After completing his employment verification, Devon proudly received his Certificate of Completion, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
But Devon wasn’t finished.
One week into his new job, he walked back into the Lancaster office wearing his Carl’s Jr. uniform, not because he needed assistance, but because he wanted to say thank you.
